- Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together the almond flour, granulated sugar, Greek yogurt, egg, vanilla extract, almond flavoring, and salt until a thick filling forms.
- Roll one sheet of puff pastry into the prepared baking pan, pressing gently into the corners.
- Spread the almond filling evenly over the pastry.
- Place the second sheet of puff pastry over the filling and seal the edges gently.
- Brush the top with beaten egg and sprinkle with sliced almonds.
- Bake for 28 to 32 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
- Cool completely before mixing the powdered sugar and milk into a smooth glaze.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled bars and slice into squares before serving.
Notes
Store the bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for longer freshness. These bars also freeze well for make-ahead desserts and edible gifts.
