Ingredients
  

  • 4 salmon fillets about 6 ounces each
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Lemon slices for topping
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and place them skin side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl mix olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, oregano, parsley, and paprika until well combined.
  4. Spoon the mixture evenly over each salmon fillet, making sure the tops are well coated.
  5. Place thin lemon slices over each piece of salmon.
  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes depending on thickness, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
  7. Remove from oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
