- Preheat the oven to 400°F. Lightly coat a baking dish with cooking spray or a small amount of oil.
- Pat the chicken dry and place it in the baking dish. Drizzle the chicken with olive oil.
- In a small bowl, combine the ranch seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken.
- Bake for 18 minutes.
- Remove the dish from the oven and brush the chicken evenly with the barbecue sauce. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 to 8 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
Notes
For extra caramelized flavor, place the chicken under the broiler for 1 to 2 minutes after adding the barbecue sauce. Watch carefully to prevent burning.
