Method
- Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5 to 6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through to an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- In a small bowl whisk together honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, water, and cornstarch. Pour the mixture into the skillet and cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over each piece. Let it simmer for 2 to 3 minutes to fully coat the chicken.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Serve with rice, steamed vegetables, or roasted potatoes for a complete meal. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit for safe consumption.
