- In a small bowl whisk together honey and lime juice until smooth.
- Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
- Brush the honey lime mixture over both sides of the chicken and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
- Add the chicken and cook undisturbed for 6 to 7 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip and cook another 6 to 7 minutes, brushing with remaining glaze, until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Transfer the chicken to a plate and rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Arrange salad greens on plates and top with sliced chicken and avocado.
- Spoon any pan juices over the top and serve immediately.
Notes
Slice the avocado just before serving to keep it fresh and prevent browning.
