- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook for 6 to 7 minutes, breaking it apart until browned.
- Season the beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir well to coat evenly.
- Add broccoli florets to the skillet and mix with the beef. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the broccoli is bright green and just tender.
- Reduce heat to low and pour in heavy cream. Stir to combine and let it warm through for about 1 minute.
- Add half of the shredded cheddar cheese and stir until melted and creamy.
- Sprinkle remaining cheese evenly over the skillet. Cover with a lid and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the cheese is fully melted.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
Notes
Cook ground beef to an internal temperature of 160°F to ensure it is safely cooked through.
