Ingredients
Method
- Preheat the oven according to the package directions for the fries, usually 425°F.
- Spread the fries on a large baking sheet and bake until golden and crispy, about 25 to 30 minutes.
- While the fries bake, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the ground beef and cook for 7 to 9 minutes, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Stir in the chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, and salt. Cook for 1 minute more.
- In a small bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and lime juice. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Transfer the hot fries to an oven-safe platter or leave them on the baking sheet.
- Evenly distribute the seasoned beef over the fries.
- Sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the top.
- Return to the oven for 3 to 5 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Top with diced tomatoes, red onion, green onions, and cilantro.
- Drizzle with the Greek yogurt sauce and serve immediately.
- Ground beef should reach an internal temperature of 160°F before serving.
Notes
For extra crispy fries, avoid overcrowding the baking sheet and bake in a single layer. Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.
