Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Set up a breading station with flour in one bowl, beaten egg in another, and breadcrumbs mixed with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne in a third bowl.
- Dip each chicken strip into the flour, then egg, then coat evenly with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place coated chicken tenders on the baking sheet and lightly drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
- While the chicken bakes, combine honey, hot sauce, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir for 2 to 3 minutes until warmed and slightly thickened.
- Remove chicken from oven and toss gently in the sauce until coated.
- Serve immediately.
- Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F for safe consumption.
Notes
For extra crispiness, place the chicken on a wire rack over the baking sheet during baking.
